DRDO DIHAR Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

(1) Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Candidates must have a B.Tech in First Division with valid GATE score OR M.Tech in First Division at both Graduate and Postgraduate level in the relevant subject.

(2) Research Associate (RA) 

  • Candidates must have M.Tech in relevant discipline with 3 years of research, teaching, or design & development experience after M.Tech and at least one research paper in an SCI journal.

Age Limit:

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Maximum 28 years
  • Research Associate (RA): Maximum 35 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.

DRDO DIHAR Recruitment 2026 Pay Scale

  • For JRF: Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA
  • For RA: Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA

DRDO DIHAR Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Eligible candidates will have to appear for walk-in interview on 24th February 2026 at DIHAR Base Station, Near 3 BRD, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh - 160002. Candidates should bring original certificates of date of birth and qualification, self-attested copies, neatly typed bio-data and relevant experience documents (for RA). Government employees should bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
